hannah's party: sneak peak #1

There are so many things to say about the wonderful weekend we spent with the Vigran Family celebrating Hannah's Bat Mitzvah.

This post is just the first of a couple of entries about the details, the beauty, the ceremony, the family, the temple, the beautiful girl, and the touching sentiment that was expressed and felt thru-out the weekend.

For now, this post will be a very quick peek at the party. Check back on Monday for a full post with a whole bunch more photos plus a link on how to view the photos once they all go on our online gallery.

Hannah is fabulous!

Mom's 75th birthday celebration

For once I am actually short on words. Trying to describe my amazing mom and how much she means not only to me, but to so many people, is pretty much beyond my ability.

Instead I will simply describe the party and show some photos of the birthday dinner we had at our house celebrating her 75th birthday.

We decided to go with a smaller party - just her immediate family. So all 7 of her kids and a few of the grandkids were able to make it - along with our family friend who has always been considered the 8th kid.
The funny part? For us - 22 people is a smaller party!
The best part? How we all chip in - time, money, energy - and have fun the entire time! (thanks mom and dad for the good training!)

Before the photos - a few thanks to those who helped and the vendors who made this such a wonderful party.

Miami Valley Pottery - check out the table wear - amazing.
Westcott House - thanks for the chairs
A Forkable Feast - delicious food - wonderful service
Rod Hatfield - The Now Device - thanks for the projector
Jimmy Rea Electronics - for the incredible service and fantastic conversion of our 8mm old movies
Peifer Orchards - the apple cider was a hit

Jen + Jason - our fabulous bride and groom who so graciously gave us some of their table decorations.
Brit - we couldn't have made it without you! Plus now you are officially part of the family.
Mary, Gary and Dino - you came into a town a day early and I put you to work. You not only helped keep my sanity, but you ironed my tablecloths, sanded my wood name plates, helped me pick flowers, cleaned, scrubbed, and generally made everything more fun and easier. XOXO
My awesome husband Tom - none of this could have happened without you. You do everything with a smile and make everything seem like fun. (even when I keep adding more work to your list) XOXO
Steph and Bob - thanks so much for picking up all the food on your way up! I really appreciate it.

jen + jason: Conrad Botzum Farmstead

Jen and Jason are not only delightful but they have this great way of mixing elegance and rustic elements together that make for the most beautiful setting. The location for this incredible wedding was the Conrad Botzum Farmstead - located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park system.
From her gorgeous Nicole Miller dress to the homemade marshmallows - everything works together.

jen + jason

Jen and Jason are naturals in front of the camera. Even with a hectic schedule in front of them (the wedding is a week away!) they were able to pull off the most relaxed, natural photo shoot...and they did it all while looking fantastic.

We are so looking forward to your wedding this weekend!
